Happy Mail

I was so excited for these two to come in the mail. I ordered them last Wednesday. The tap shoes arrived two days after, on Friday and the journal, just yesterday. Oh my heart!

I bought a pair of Capezio's as suggested by a classmate at the tap class. I've never ordered shoes online so I was worried it won't fit. I hate having to deal with suppliers in returning purchases and having them replaced by new ones, etc etc. But they fit me to a T! And I tell you, the difference between not wearing tap shoes and wearing tap shoes in learning tap dancing makes all the difference. Tap after all, as defined by Wikipedia, is a form of dance characterized by using one's shoes, as well as the floor, as a percussive instrument. As such, it is also commonly considered to be a musical form.

I fell in love with this journal the moment I saw it at Urban Outfitters in Burbank. I wanted to buy it (even at $16) but Maica said I might get it cheaper online. True enough, I got this one from Amazon for around $11 only! No tax and shipped for free (because Maica is an Amazon mom)!

It's everything I imagined it to be.
How to Use This Book

"To begin, turn to today's calendar date, and fill in the year at the top of the page's first entry. Here, you can add your thoughts on the present day's events. On the next day, turn the page and fill in the date accordingly. Do likewise throughout the year. When the year has ended, start the next year in the second entry space on the page, and so on through the remaining years."

Isn't that cool?!

Love itttttttt!
